Whenever I read the reviews of others I feel they all sum-up the general consensus that True West is truly a five star establishment. Stalls are great, camp sites are great. These things go without saying. I think what gets overlooked sometimes is the fact that Donna, Shawn and Brittany have absolutely placed their collective hearts and souls into the success of True West Campground. I feel they have achieved that goal by insuring that the every need of their guest is met without hesitation. They display that feeling of Southern Hospitality from the time you pull in and Shawn is helping with tack storage, or mucking out trailers, or helping with blown trailer fuses. Donna keeps everything else in the line of guest needs are being met. While Brittany keeps registrations rolling along. Can't say enough about the wonderful feeling of FRIEND/FAMILY atmosphere at True West. Y'all will not be disappointed.

What a GReeeeeeeeaaaat weekend! ACTHA event was very well thought out, and challenging. I don't think a hoop has ben made yet that Donna and Shawn can't jump through. I have stayed at many campgrounds, but never one like this. These two truly put the rider and horse first/ This is pretty much a pull in, uinload, kick-back. and leave your worries at the door. Also, the entertainment was terrific. If y'all get a chance to see or hear Adam Pope, he is worth the price of admission. For a two piece band, it was the most fun I've had in awhile. Give them a try, Y'all won't regret it.

I have stayed at True West a number of years back, and sadly never retruned, until this past weekend for the ACTHA event. Holy cow!! The best thing in the world that could have happened to True West happened. The Martin family. I have never seen such a commitment to ensure that my stay was as pleasant as possible. Whatever you need, just ask. Whatever suggestions to make things better, just tell it. Both Donna and Shawn have earned my respect as to what it takes to make a business succesful. Commitment to the rider, horse, and the community. Long conversations with the Martins show that thier interest does not stop at the front door it extends into helping make a better community in general. None-the less. I am so pleased thaat my wife and I returned for the ACTHA event, because I feel we have made a couple of new friends to the horse riding expierence. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
